These were given to Teru by his late older brother. They were originally modified and customized to trick opponents with its bulky tortoise-like design. They were customized for loose movement, durability, and tricks. Lately the wheels have been giving a ghostly wail at top speed, something strange as nothing seems wrong with them.

Personality:

His personality has almost done a 180, he is more confident in his abilities, striving to be better and stronger. Teru's is still friendly and kind but is not as timid as he use to be. He still can be a bit bashful and awkward doing touchy moments outside of his friends. He has become protective of his loves ones, meaning if you harm them he'll hunt you down. Fighting in parts wars has made this adrenaline junky bloom into an outgoing thrill seeker, ready to face any challenge... not wanting to end up.. under a pile a rubble because he failed to face his fears and shyness.

History:

Ever since Teru was born, he was a sickly fragile child. He often ended up getting ill or hurt. His parents once had to put pillows all over their condo to keep him from hurting himself on accident. Because of his frail, sickly body, he had to be home-schooled as he could not attend school with his older brother. His parents worried about him, but often left the child alone. His parents often thought that Teru would die early, so they tried to distance themselves so they wouldn't be so distraught. This often lead Teru to believe the same as he was left alone in his room. The only one who thought differ was his older brother.

His older brother would always come home from school, or from playing with his friends, to tell Teru what happened. He would always brighten Teru's day by playing simple games with him, or telling him stories. Teru admired his brother a lot, as his brother was his closest and only friend. So it was no surprise when his older brother had gotten his first ATs that he would share his love of them with his brother. After riding with his friends, challenging them, he would always bring his ATs to Teru's room, telling him all about it as well as helping him fix his ATs whenever they got damaged, or when he wanted to customize them. Teru always loved how much his brother talked about it...even though he didn't understand a thing.

Though these were happy moments with his brother, they weren't meant to last. One day, his brother had fallen ill, constantly throwing up, with bowel movements being rare for a few weeks. As they tried to hurry him to the hospital his bones had become weak... breaking easily on the way. His older brother was hospitalized. He had to go through several tests before they found a rare defect in his genes. It caused his immune system to attack his body. It had gone undectected for years, having to take out his appendix once and not noticing that it was because of the defect. His brother was dying... and though they knew how to treat him now, he would never live the same life. His kidneys were failing, he needed medication to control his white blood cells, and he needed oxygen tanks as his lungs had been affected by the defect as well.

Teru's older brother gave Teru his ATs , after hearing the news, telling Teru, "They look better on feet, not on a shelf collecting dust.". While, sadly, Teru was getting better, his brother lay dying. Teru ended up being well enough to visit his brother in the hospital every day, trying to make his older brother feel better like his brother used to do for him. But it was no use. They both knew something inside they couldn't tell or ask.... And the day when he was scheduled for a kidney transplant...was the first and last day they spoke of it. ".......I want to die, Teru...."

And so he did, leaving Teru alone, sad, and full of guilt after helping his brother get his wish. Forever remaining his dark secret as he tried to separate from his home, often staying out past midnight roaming around the city to avoid coming home to the empty condo, or to his parents' sleeping faces...

After living with Keiko, his life has improved greatly from grades to his emotional and mental state. He's absolutely happy with Keiko, despite his parents still bugging him because he moved.

(During One year gap)

During the gap, Teru was forced by Keiko to stop riding for months til his injuries were fully healed. After they healed, he immediately started riding, practicing nonstop to get back to where he was and even try to pass that. He battled some riders during this time, often loosing instead of winning due to his fear of speed despite wanting to improve. Teru practiced more and more til finally he made himself enjoy the ride instead of controlling himself. By letting himself loose, Teru started riding faster, letting out a ghostly wail with his ATs.

Months past, he was nearing the end of school before he won a battle though it was with another f-rank... he continued to fight winning a second time with an f-rank before loosing again.. he didn't know what was wrong.. Like he wasn't in touch with his own feet.... He took a trip to his brother's grave before the parts wars began.. talking to "him" in secret... later that night Teru had won a match up against an e-ranker with ease.. boosting the boy's confidence and making him more determined to get to the top.


Relationships:

Tuner--- Camil: Teru's close friend and is his tuner.

Keiko--a tuner: She has become a big sister type Teru, often times motherly. Teru is protective of her and will kick anyone's ass that dares to mess with her.

Trent--- a king: Teru looks up to Trent. He has this way that reminds him of his older brother...

Shepard---a tuner: Teru really looks up to Shepard. Shep is willing to help Teru out as well as protect him.

Basil--- a rider: He often picks on Teru, irritating the blonde teen a little. Basil does seem protective of Teru a little, which makes Teru consider Basil a good friend despite the teasing.

Cougar--- a rider: Teru looks up to Cougar, she seems to be the peace whenever others are arguing around him. She's nice and Teru likes hanging out with her.. He feels relaxed.

Reve--- a rider: Teru likes hanging out with Reve, though he is slightly tired after doing so.
